The Brief comprised of a requirement to expand the existing 2 bedroom 1930s property through extending the house at the rear and converting the existing loft space into an additional bedroom.

The proposed green roofed extension replaces a poor quality 1960’s addition and creates a more spacious interior, enabling a large sitting room, kitchen, laundry, 2 bedrooms and a wc on the ground floor, along with a master bedroom upstairs in the converted loft with an adjacent bathroom.

The interior is enhanced with wood-lined walls throughout. The open and free flowing living and dining spaces on the ground floor features a wood-burning stove that provides a comforting and attractive focal point.
